Story of Suzanne Burrows - Author

Suzanne knew she wanted to be a writer, when on her 7th birthday her parents gave her a 'write your own book' kit. She was hooked from the start and her head was filled with mystical worlds and creatures. She dreamt of seeing her books on sale at the local book store.

As a young child Suzanne had a special love of  The Famous Five Books by Enid Blyton. She was soon creating her own adventurous tales for herself and her friends (making her Dad draw covers for the hand made books as her drawing skills weren't up to much).

Her teenage years were full of stories of horror and the supernatural, so it was understandable that she was led mainly to that genre.

In 2015 she was shortlisted for her novel GREEN HAVEN (now titled THE DIVIDED) in the Pen To Print Book Challenge run by London Borough of Barking & Dagenham's Library Services - soon to be published.

In 2019 she was shortlisted in the BPA's First Novel Award for a dark fantasy novel.
